Introduction In this report, I will discuss how I have met the brief throughout my work. I will discuss in depth about the technical aspects and the aesthetic aspects of the work I created for my energy drink brand. Additionally, I will thoroughly evaluate how effective my work is and evaluate where I met the criteria that was asked of me at the beginning of the brief. I was asked by Coca Cola LTD to create a healthy fizzy drink. I came up with a name for the drink and created the whole advertising campaign. I chose to make by healthy fizzy drink an energy drink to cater towards a more specific target audience. To ensure that I completed all of the tasks that I had been assigned by Coca Cola LTD in time, it was imperative that I created a project plan. A project plan is beneficial throughout the entirety of the pre-production, production and post production process of creating my advertisements, this is because it assists me with time management and scheduling the tasks I have to comp

Codes and Conventions  Introduction In this report I will discuss codes and conventions, specifically how my advertisements meet the codes and conventions and what I did to meet these necessary codes and conventions. Codes and conventions are a crucial part of advertisements and it is imperative that they are included in an advert to make it appeal to consumers.  Codes and Conventions Codes and conventions that are commonly featured and associated with print advertisements are: A picture of the product A USP (Unique Selling Point) Lighting Setting / Colour scheme  Logo / Brand name Slogan / Tagline  I believe that I have met these codes and conventions when creating both my print and social media advertisement.  Print Advertisement This is the final version of the print advertisement for my energy drink, Lotus. I believe that this advertisement includes the codes and conventions previously mentioned. Firstly, it is clear that there is a picture of the product in my print advertisement

Introduction In this report I will display and discuss the social media and print advertisements I created for my energy drink brand 'Lotus'. I will show the stages of how I created my advertisements in Adobe Photoshop and I will explain what tools or effects I used on Photoshop and why I used them to create my finished advertisements.  Print Advertisement Step 1: This is the first step I took in creating my print advertisement. I begun by placing the can into the centre and expanding the size of the can so that the details of it can clearly be seen by viewers that would see the advertisement.  Step 2: Secondly, I added in the brands tagline 'Let your mind bloom'. I chose this tagline because it fits perfectly with the lotus flower branding that my drink has and promotes a natural and healthy tone. I chose two fonts for this layer of text. The first font is 'Simple Summer' which is a sans serif font. The second font I chose is 'Hippy Chick' which is a s

Introduction  In this report I am going to justify my choice of components for my advertising campaign for my energy drink brand 'Lotus'. I will produce print and social media advertisements for my campaign and I will describe why I chose the characteristics of my advertisements to cater towards my target audience, which is females aged 16-30. I will elaborate on why I chose certain aspects for my advertisements and how they are effective. Social Media Ad This is my initial draft of the Instagram (social media) advertisement; because this was my first draft it doesn't include any colour or fine detail so I used annotations to portray what colours or details will be present on the finished advert. My advertisement has a graphic of a sun set behind my Lotus can, the reason I chose this graphic for my advert is to convey how healthy and natural the drink is. The sun portrays health because it is light, natural and the majority of people enjoy being in the sun therefore it is t

Cross Media Channels Introduction In this report I will discuss two cross media advertisement campaigns and go in depth about the details of my chosen campaigns and discuss why they were effective and successful. I will provide information about the campaigns themselves, the message of the campaigns and the consistency of the campaigns. Red Bull Stratos Campaign The Red Bull Stratos campaign is arguably one of the most eccentric and unique advertising campaigns to exist in the modern day. It was extremely innovative and is still one of the most memorable campaigns to exist even 11 years after it was live. The Red Bull Stratos campaign was launched in October of 2012 and was advertised on billboards and online in an extremely viral livestream on Red Bull’s YouTube channel which shattered the record for the most traffic to one livestream proving how successful this cross media campaign was. Not only was the Stratos campaign for advertising, it also doubled as a breakthrough in sc

Unit 15 P1: Audio Visual Promo

Audio Visual Promos   Audio Visual Promo to Inform Public Information Film - Aids 1986 (youtube.com) The United Kingdom Public Information Film (1986) to create awareness about Aids spreading across the UK is an advert with the purpose to inform. This is an audio visual promo with the purpose to inform because the promo is solely to inform the public about aids and how dangerous it can be otherwise everyone would be unaware and uninformed so this audio visual promo was issued to inform the public about the spreading disease.  The promo's visuals are extremely dramatic and includes natural disasters like volcanic eruptions and rock slides. Although these visuals have nothing to do with the aids disease itself, the Government used this tactically to make viewers pay attention to the advert so that they can be informed about aids. The Government knew if they used a plain black screen behind the text not as many people would pay attention and ultimately less people would be informed ab
